A municipality in South-western Finland, in the region of Pirkanmaa, some 150 kilometers north-west of Helsinki. 3,004 inhabitants.
The municipality of Punkalaidun has the best employment figures in the region: In November 2016 there were 123 unemployed job seekers, or 9.6 percent.
