The number of arrivals to Åland fell by 67% in 2020 compared to 2019. That year more than 2,040,000 visited, while in 2020 less than 680,000 people did. The number of Swedes visiting fell the most, while there were major drops in visitors from Finland and elsewhere too, according to Statistics and Research Åland.
